Guess what that time is…..

That’s right!

It is NaNoWriMo!!! And I am already over three thousand words strong into my novel. And later today, I will put up my first posting of the day’s words properly. I will do this every day to keep myself motivated and accountable. Just….dodon’t expect it to make that much sense. This is a first manuscript after all.

And here is a video of Matt’s from Bandgeek8408. It is an oldie but a goodie. And it motivates me to keep going when I don’t want to. HOw about you? Anyone participating this year? And if you are, what are some motivations you have to get started? What is your word count so far? And if you don’t participate in NaNo, what is a major goal that you would like to meet?

Update. Again.

Well, I did it again. I jumped projects during my Camp Nanowrimo month. Again. And I had just tackled it in a major way.

Let me set the stage. I have gotten interested in a series from Josh Scorcher, really two of them. Both of the series are really good, by the way. They both are D&D campaigns and both the stories and the characters in them are really interesting. And it is so much fun listening to the interplay between the people as they play out the games. And I have some real favorite characters in each of them.

I won’t give away any spoilers. But I was playing with the idea of novelizing one of the streams for a few installations for a week or so now. My other projects suffered because of it. But then something happened in one of the installations that pushed me to a real drive. I had a real fire under me today and had written/edited for the last several hours to get this segment right. I admit that I worry that this event, which I admit was devastatingly sad, got me to get so focused on this is really troubling. But I’ll admit that one of the first rules of writing is that if it makes you feel the emotions you are trying to write, then your readers will feel them too.

Of course, that might also be because of the wonderful roleplaying ability of the various players who are portraying the characters.

Here is a link to that one.

Here is the link for the start of the other campaign, which is wonderful.

So anyway, This is what I have to report. I am working on a new project, but I won’t completely shelf the others. Even though one I gave away, and regretted afterward since I really don’t care for it when I looked at it afterward. Still, he said it was interesting, so I take hope that he had at least been slightly amused by it.

And until I see you again, take care, and keep creating!

A Pony Kind of Christmas, Among Other Stuff…:P

I do not own this. It is from the CD created by Hasbro. And provided on youtube by Sony Music Entertainment.

You know that I am a recent MLP FIM fan. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. But I did not really expect to like this when I found out about it. Children shows, even the really good ones, don’t have the best track record for these kinds of things. But I should never have doubted. I loved them all. I hope you will enjoy this one as much as I do, and will look forward to more.
And for those that are not MLP fans. Eh, humor me. It’s Christmas after all.

Here’s something for the ones out there who like learning about things, like me! Here you will find a bunch of videos, and an article all about the history of Christmas. Your welcome. ^_^

Lastly, a shameless plug. I know, shameless. But last year I did something wonderful! I actually finished a fanfiction!!! Actually, I finished a couple, I think. Actually, I forgot how many I actually completed. BUT! I finished my Ninja Turtles Christmas Shorts! So Here you are, for those of you that enjoy Turtle Power, or just a goof’s attempt at writing Christmas scenes around the lives of fictional adolescent terripins lives, enjoy! I might also post a story individually each day. Because, yeah. I’m really pretty shameless. ^_^

I am currently working on a new project, but I want to know something first. Is anyone interested in living like a hobbit? Is this something you will want to read> Post your comments on facebook. E-mail me at Let me know what you think about the idea. Anyways to make it better? Scrap it? Well, not the last.

Let me know, and aid in the blind floundering of a writer getting a manuscript off the ground!

I struck ink!

I have had a really good, non-nanowrimo day of writing. Like, one of my best! And this in the face of moving the last of my stuff from my room to, well, my room. I don’t know what would happen in the future. But I know it won’t be what I want it to be without hard work. More days like today, and I will have a finished book in my hand someday.
